Pros

They are a good place if you want a stable career opportunity that is a STEPPING STONE. Somewhat decent 401K & insurance. Pet insurance is cool.

Cons

They don’t give two flying craps about you, they will keep you at the lowest pay possible for as long as you stay there. If you don’t speak up and fight for a raise or promotion they will forget about you and keep telling you that they are “working on it” for a bunch of people at the same time but will never do anything until you threaten to leave them for a different company. Their HR department doesn’t really care about your well being, they only care about keeping the people with money happy and the most senior employees can do whatever they want especially if you come in 1st shift and waste half your day talking to people. They ride the little guy into the dirt and make them sweat until they quit. Abusive management and extremely inappropriate meetings advising you to stay clear from HR because we “keep it in the family”. There is always feces on the toilet seats and there is a constant flow of people quitting or straight up not showing up for work any longer without notice due to the terrible work conditions.

Pros

My immediate team was very professional, supportive, and very knowledgeable. My supervisor was kind, fair, and a great leader. Work/life balance was very positive. Vacation time is good.

Cons

Established procedures are not followed company-wide, and upper management doesn’t hold anyone accountable. The person leading the branch created considerable separation amongst the different departments rather than emphasizing teamwork and collaboration, which created a VERY divided atmosphere. His lack of knowledge in the industry is apparent and his unwillingness to seek input from experienced staff often led to mistakes and loss of revenue. I consistently performed my job with a high level of accuracy and understood customer expectations. Without any notice, new members of his team assumed my responsibilities, creating confusion, disrupting workflow, and ultimately causing customer dissatisfaction. Corporate leadership allows these problems to go unchecked and there’s absolutely no accountability. I felt like “just a number” towards the end of my employment here and voluntarily resigned because of it. Senior management needs more engagement with the day-to-day operations. They’re in their own bubble and disengaged. They’d often visit the branch for meetings and never talked to anyone other than other members of the executive team.
