Pros
Probably the only good thing about working here is the pay and benefits: Union wages and company provides healthcare at no cost.
Cons
Everything else. Both upper and lower management have poor social skills for dealing with people. Management is constantly getting hired and leaving shortly after (high turnover rate). The hourly employees will backstab you. Seniority is king, and the union makes 95% of the workforce lazy...only clocking in to get a check and not actually work. They refuse to hire good mechanics. Most of them spend the day outside smoking or playing on their phones and don't come when you call them to fix something. 8-9 months of the year, you can't get more than 2-3 days of work. Half of the building is empty space from them pulling multiple production lines out of the facility. They admit they refuse to bring anything else in because the employee cost is too high and efficiency is too low. HR doesn't take threats of violence or harassment seriously. Absolutely horrible environment to work in. Everybody in management plays into favouritism.
