Pros

I am working this company from past 2 years, lot of positive changes are here due to the new management , exposure are more, performance appraisal on employee anniversary, opportunities are more for the engineer, end to end ownership of the projects, chances to work on cruise base projects and airline base also.

Cons

Sometimes project management is slightly hectic as will be working on the confidential projects, complete requirements is difficult to get in the initial stage.

Pros

Fairly good working relationships with sister company's personnel (Omega World Travel is parent) as well as some great teams from parent company that appreciated the efforts made to help them succeed.

Cons

During the 8+ years I was with this firm there was constant treatment that the Travtech team was the "Red Headed Step-Sister" and did not deserve any respect or recognition of the efforts made by Travtech. The recently hired (1.5 years) executive preached about communication and the importance of being more communicative but decided he would transform the office, currently in cubicles, into an open office plan without one word or hint of this transformation to staff. The only indication that the transformation was about occur was when the new office furniture showed up at the office and people started to wonder what was going on. Apparently communication was a one way street. This bothered myself and many others due to the total lack of communication which was so important according to the executive. Ultimately there were individuals with many years of service that have left (including one from a sister company that had been with them for 18+ years).

Pros

Small but diverse office with good facilities

Cons

Low salaries, basic benefits and a president who wants to grow the company, but a parent company (Omega World Travel) who doesn't want to spend a dime
