Cons
Ive been at TYX for 9 years. Most of the cons stem from the good this company once was. The CEO is a good guy but has lost his direction a bit. The CEO used to quote, "take care of your people and your people will take care of the business". No one has heard that sentiment since Thompson Street became the active investors. Healthcare was crippled, bonuses halted, pay raises dried up. No one at the company wants to say it too loud for fear, but they will say it when they feel they are around trustworthy individuals. The company has a "20 value" addendum to their first "10 values" that weren't even practiced. "Honesty in everything" is a laughable value since everyone is forced to pretend like the company is headed in the right direction. While the product line may be headed in the correct direction the management seems to be dead set on choking it's valuable employees out. Most employees in the past year have admitted to searching for another job due to feeling undervalued, undercompensated, while being overutilized. Instead of compensation and taking care of employees, they put on a show by gathering everyone in rooms for food trucks and swag. No 401k matching, barely any Healthcare.
