They used to provide me with a lot of proper work.
Cons
After their merger/being taken over several years ago, they dropped me and many other translators on pathetically fabricated grounds despite the fact that I'd been instrumental in creating their initial success for many years. I was far more competent than anyone else they could have had in my role, but listening to yes-men and clueless clients was quite enough for them as an excuse for a clearout of previous freelance resources who might have argued with them, simply due to being better than them.
