Worst Job Experience of my Life - Order Selector Trailmobile Employee Review

Pros

I could rely on a regular paycheque and it allowed me not to starve to death. The work itself was not overly difficult and I enjoyed it at times.

Cons

Racism and prejudice ran rampant, the manager frequently used racial slurs against me and told me he didn't trust "my kind." Nepotism was the norm so I had no opportunity for advancement. I was frequently talked down to and told that my work was of sub-par quality when in fact it was essential to the business. A toxic work environment that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. They refused to pay me a forklift driver's salary for the first six months even though they made me use a forklift nearly every day; they refused to give me backpay when their error was realized.

Pros

never had a paycheque bounce

Cons

Everyone had to take a five percent paycut back in 2001 and then over a year later they tried to pass off a 2% raise as both a raise and the reinstatement of the 5% thay had cut in the first place. They were also running on the most outdated computer system I have even seen (although this has apparently been changed recently)
