Pros
Work-life balance could be good depending on your group or manager. Not a bad place for a college graduate to work here for couple of years, gain hands-on experience and then move to a top-tier semiconductor company.
Cons
The company is very short-staffed. The work environment is negative. Salary is 15-20% less than the market value. Employees are generally angry at how they are underpaid or mistreated by the company. Older employees typically have been working here for over 15 years. Most of them feel they are stuck here either because they bought a house or their kids are going to school in the area. There are very few semiconductor companies in this area. Most good young employees leave the company after couple of years. If you have to work here, be sure to negotiate base salary before joining since there will be little or no salary increase every year. The company works on older technology from 90s but still struggles because of old tools and lack of resources in the fab.
