Pros
Good chance for progression for certain people, good colleagues.
Cons
I really wish I could leave a positive review for Touchdown PR, because I genuinely met some amazing people here. However, the harsh reality is that the UK management team are single handedly destroying the company. It’s horrifyingly clear that management fosters an environment of bullying and favoritism - it’s not even an open secret, it’s more of a way of life. Certain individuals are picked on relentlessly, while incompetent managers are shielded simply because of personal connections. This blatant nepotism not only breeds resentment but also severely undermines morale. The comments I've overheard from management are nothing short of appalling. I was shocked to hear horrible remarks, including derogatory statements about specific ethnicities. Comments said openly in the office, exclusively by the senior management team, include: “[this ethnicity] can’t swim” “I was uncomfortable next to XXX on a plane” “I can always tell who’s gay” “We shouldn’t hire anyone who’s name I cannot pronounce” I feel disgusting typing those comments out, but without specific, real examples, I know the management team will disregard this part of the review. This behaviour is so common at Touchdown and not only unprofessional but deeply uncomfortable. The way these thoughts are embedded into the organisation goes far beyond something that inclusivity training could solve. There is a complete disregard for the importance of fostering a supportive environment - and my personal experience with medical leave was shocking. I have witnessed firsthand the repercussions of poor leadership. At least six colleagues in three years have cited a particular UK account director as their reason for leaving—yet nothing has changed. The management fails to take negative feedback seriously, even when it’s highlighted in a formal setting. The atmosphere is suffocating, with open disdain for junior team members and ongoing gossip (said openly in the office) that erodes trust and collaboration. I genuinely believe that the company is sitting on a lawsuit waiting to happen if they continue to ignore these critical issues. In summary, while the potential for growth and camaraderie is there, the toxic culture, lack of accountability, and poor treatment of employees make it impossible to recommend Touchdown PR. I hope management will take this feedback seriously and strive for meaningful change before it’s too late.
