Pros
Great team atmosphere, friendships made with coworkers, team outings
Cons
65-70 hours a week is the expectation along with 100 phone calls a day when selling. Literally calling businesses from the same search resources as 1000 other people. The repeated sales calls from TQL hurt reputation. The services aren't price competitive and really only make sense for time-sensitive shipments. Mgmt will tell you TQL only has a tiny portion of the market, but the niche has been filled. If you really want to be a freight broker, look to a smaller company--this one is full. In addition, the draw system is terrible. 35k may work in Cincy, but not for the rest of the country. For some it takes 2 years to earn commission.
