Pros
- In general the people there are great, very welcoming and friendly - The girls in the events team are amazing - Lots of social events and team building activities - Scope to work on a lot of exciting events with high profile clients - you will learn a lot in a short space of time. - Good opportunities to grow in the business, it seems like people generally stay there for long periods of time which is a good sign.
Cons
- In my experience, training was not great - you are almost left to your own devices after a very brief induction and expected to get on with it. - Work load is HUGE and everything is a priority, you are expected to turn projects round in an unreasonably short amount of time and because of this the team were always making mistakes because we had to rush EVERYTHING. - The motto in the team was 'we work in events, we are not saving lives' but this was not reflected in the extreme pressure put on the team. I witnessed nearly every single person in the team (around 15+ girls) cry in the short time I worked there. - The MD has clear favourites and if you are not a favourite you are openly ignored - felt very hostile. - Working from home was stingy, only one day a week and these days were allocated for you every week! - On top of the crazy workload we were also expected to assist with business development and push the business and create leads for the BD Director
