I either work from home or in my client’s home office. The hours are flexible, there is no one else around to distract me. I work with the same client all the time (no bouncing from person to person). I feel like I am part of a team and that my client really appreciates me. I have been thinking about increasing my hours, and TAS says they can do that by matching a second client with me if I want.

My client is kind of far from me, so when we get together it’s a bit of a drive, but we only meet about once a month so it evens out.

Megan is great matchmaker at pairing assistants with clients. I also feel like the company supports me and is behind me for everything. They're very patient and flexible with figuring out all of the tiny details, since it can be tricky to get everything right the first time, such as contract signings and payroll paperwork. I also like being able to figure out around my schedule when I will be working and for how long. It really is perfectly flexible around all the other things I have going on in my life.

If you're coming into the job, it can be tricky to know exactly what will be asked of you as far as specific tasks go, which means walking in a little blind.
