Pros
If you want to run your own sales and marketing business someday this is best experience. Get to train new hires and learn how to build a team. Can move up quickly, get to network with some of the best in sales and marketing. Representing the best companies and services in the nation, not low quality products or services. No door to door or cold calling which is good because I can't stand to do either.
Cons
Definitely for entrepreneurs because you don't work 9 to 5. It's what you make of it. Have to be good at sales! If not good at it, this job isn't for you...always have to lead from the front. Can't be lazy and and not do your best because you won't get anywhere. You'll just get frustrated because you're not moving up. Have to have goals and work towards big picture or you won't see results you want. Got to keep learning to get better. Got to network with people who are good at this type of work instead of people who aren't doing well or you'll get even more frustrated!
