Poor management - Senior Store Assistant Toolstation Employee Review

So many to list. Management is poor, no cctv or security in the store so it's open for false accusations. In the dark ages regarding procedures, nothing to remove human error so lots of mistakes are made. Very cliquey, if you aren't part of the gang you are made to feel like an outsider and blamed for everything. Management have favourites and let them get away with anything. No choice of holidays as there is not enough staff in stores. God forbid you are ill as you get threatened with disciplinary. My son needed to go to hospital once and was shouted at by the manager because I had to take him and couldn't come in. No sympathy. Don't work here if you have kids. Poor pay that doesn't reflect the amount of work you do. No choice of shifts as too little staff in stores. Can't leave the store on your break as only 2 of you on shift most days. Terrible place to work. Avoid even if you're desperate.
