Pros

Rather than living on the street, it is something.

Cons

Everything, Production knows nothing about production, only organizes google meet for anything, does not coordinate, knows nothing about the project and above all, never makes mistakes or failures. They don't know the production times and they don't care to know them either. Holidays are not respected, They always insinuate that you have to work them and that they make them up another day, but they do not give it as something optional, they apply it as if you were a slave. Don't refuse or have an organized compromise because there will be some excuse to pay way out of term. They don't pay overtime. They don't pay on time, The pay is less than what any studio on the island pays, which in itself is well below the average in Spain.

Pros

Work remotely sometimes, a bit better salary than average in the animation industry in Tenerife, which is already low average.

Cons

- Lack of onboarding: New team members had no structured onboarding, which sometimes led to confusion regarding workflows and expectations. - Accountability issues: Mistakes in production were often attributed to artists without a deeper review of processes or root causes. - Delayed overtime payments: Overtime payments were not addressed promptly until concerns were raised by team members. - Work culture concerns: Artists who adhered to standard working hours occasionally faced subtle discouragement for leaving on time. - Pipeline inefficiencies: The production pipeline was not optimized, resulting in slow scene loading and impacting productivity. - Hardware limitations: Outdated hardware with insufficient VRAM posed challenges for meeting the technical demands of the project. - Knowledge gaps in leadership: Some department supervisors lacked familiarity with the software used, leading to unresolved issues and interdepartmental friction. - Unrealistic expectations: Artists were often given ambitious quotas that were difficult to meet, with additional pressure to work weekends to stay on track. -No feedback or improvement process: At the end of production, there was no effort to gather feedback or hold a postmortem meeting to discuss areas for improvement.

Pros

Nice studio facilities, beautiful city, and a relaxed environment.

Cons

*Low salary (below the bad salaries of continental Spain) *More and more work for the same money *Lack of professionalism of production and production assistant who rely on us to make more tasks. *Money (for the studio) is the highes priority and that implies a level of lack of organization that artists need.
