There has been a noticeable pattern of pattern of experienced, tenured reps exiting at a rapid pace, Constant structural changes, shifting comp plans, an evolving expectations create instability. Performance standards continue to rise while territories continue to shrink and market conditions continually become more challenging. Not enough business to go around so rep and different teams are fighting over business.
Quota attainment is at an all-time low and competition is tougher than ever. Sales teams recycle every year now, solid reps are fired because territory can't handle quota and new reps come in then are pushed out as soon as they are fully ramped.
IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING JOINING AS A SALES REP, HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. THE OTE ON LINKEDIN IS NO LONGER EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT YOU WILL MAKE.
Leadership is atrocious and mid level management is even worse.
UNLESS YOU ARE COMFORTABLE OPERATING IN A HIGHLY VOLATILE SALES ENVIRONMENT WITH LIMITED LONG-TERM SECURITY, THIS IS NOT A COMPANY I WOULD RECOMMEND JOINING AT THIS TIME.
