Pros

Not many. Pay is okay. It's a very small company with high turnover so the odds of moving up are good.

Cons

CEO is heavily involved with client work. The problem is that this person doesn't understand media planning/buying. CEO is notorious for over promising and not being able to follow through. Will then question and blame employees for not being able to deliver. Company is run like a sales organization that is heavy on volume and low on quality. Work environment is extremely fast paced that many people cannot keep up with. Employees are overworked and always stressed. Beware if you leave, CEO is known to send her lawyers after you.

Pros

Management is consistently investing in employees. They let you try new things and are open to any and all ideas. They invest in your ongoing education and are wonderful to work with. My co-workers are supportive, enthusiastic, driven and adaptable to change. I have worked in a number of agencies, but this is the first one I can say that I am excited to start the workday.

Cons

If you don't adapt to change well, it is probably not the company or industry for you.

Pros

The remaining team consists of awesome people who are a wealth of knowledge, experience and creativity. The new office space is really nice. The projects and client work I took part on were interesting, exciting and fulfilling. I learned a an immense amount in my short time with the agency.

Cons

No SOP's. No new hire training- especially lacking in handing off clients (hours spent hunting down previous contracts, investigating billing reconciliation, trying to locate previous client work in folders that had been deleted). There is no standard pricing structure of the pillars of services offered, leading to many issues with poorly budgeted SOW's. Significant turnover, very short term tenure among the team. The agency operates as a small, startup-like organization, with its business model completely reliant on client projects. The loss of significant clients in 2024 resulted in substantial downsizing.
