Pros

Made some great friends through trauma bonding. We still talk about our bad experiences.

Cons

Just wanted to double down on all the reviews that talk about how manipulative, out-of-touch, passive-aggressive, and borderline emotionally abusive management is. I thought I was crazy when I left the company but it turns out I was not alone in feeling that way, and it sounds like they've changed absolutely nothing. They've also deleted previous negative reviews and attempted to replace them with positive reviews that they clearly wrote themselves. I continue to see employees getting fired, only to be replaced by interns. They will wring you dry for cheap labor, only to kick you out the second you ask for a penny more. Do not work here.

Tier One Partners Response

Our goal is to make Tier One a rewarding place to work. We are sorry you did not have that experience working at Tier One. For accountability and planning, we conduct an anonymous employee survey every year. The survey gathers feedback and addresses employee concerns about leadership and culture. Our late 2023 survey was very positive. We have used the data collected to further strengthen our culture in 2024. Tier One can't delete a negative review made on Glassdoor. Review content can only be removed by Glassdoor – and is removed when it violates Glassdoor’s community Guidelines and terms and conditions. The Tier One Senior Leadership Team

Pros

-Fantastic work-life balance, better than my previous agency experience -Gained valuable experience working with a variety of clients in highly regulated industries (financial services, healthcare) -A true collaborative environment – no job is too small for any team member. During my first few months, one of the co-founders even offered to help with pitching -Leadership is respectful of employee schedules and allows for flexibility (at the time of my departure, we were following a hybrid schedule) -Professional development is prioritized both in the form of various PD events and performance reviews -Beyond client work, I had a positive experience working on different agency special ops teams (marketing, sales, etc.); each employee is a member of at least one special ops -Great company culture, and the culture event team takes care in planning fun events for the agency

Cons

-As a smaller agency, ensuring full coverage during PTO/absences requires dedicated coordination and proactive planning -Participating in special ops teams is rewarding but can add an extra layer of responsibility alongside client deliverables

Pros

- Great leaders that care about the growth and development of the younger members on the team - There is a conscious effort to help maintain a positive work-life balance - A very collaborative work environment - Provided great opportunities to get experience across a range of different industries, both B2B and B2C - A perfect mix of a hybrid work schedule

Cons

- There was some turnover with clients while I was there but that is to be expected at an agency (plus it was nice to be able to get different experience as new clients were introduced)
