Excellent company with strong leaders—but your experience depends heavily on your manager. - Engineer Thomson Reuters Employee Review

Pros

Competitive environment with plenty of opportunities to learn. I had the privilege of working with supportive, technically strong managers who genuinely invested in their teams and career growth. There are excellent leaders in the organization, interesting technical challenges, and talented colleagues who make it a great place to work.

Cons

The employee experience varies dramatically depending on the reporting structure. While some teams have exceptional leadership, others suffer from inconsistent people management, limited mentorship, unclear career progression, and an environment where employees may not feel comfortable raising concerns or discussing compensation openly. Unfortunately, talented employees are not always developed or retained. In some teams, high-performing people leave because they don't see a meaningful path for growth, while opportunities for learning and internal mobility remain limited despite repeated interest from employees. The canteen food could also be improved.

Pros

Great environment and people. Lots of overtime available and bonuses during busy season.

Cons

I really enjoyed this job so the only con I can think of is that it is seasonal.

Pros

Plenty of wonderful benefits and the most competitive parental leave I have found in the US job market

Cons

Depending on the organization you work within, you could be working for leadership that expects sales reps to smooth over and fix every single mistake that is made. A lot of these mistakes are because they haven't yet recovered from acquiring new companies and they haven't absorbed CRMs and data correctly. There are many different teams to work with to get the simplest projects done. It feels like the companies values are really in place because they expect the employees to take responsibility for their lack of systems in place supporting them.
