Pros
Great people, super good culture, everyone was very easy to get along with. I made friends that I hope to be in touch with forever. Company culture is genuinely great. Leadership is constantly looking for feedback and managers do what they can to try to make things better. They innovate based on employee feedback which is better than most companies. Benefits are great, base pay is good. Don’t be fooled- don’t expect to make OTE in a year. You might be lucky if you get the monthly bonus for a few months out of the year.
Cons
They advertised this job to everyone differently based on their background. If your background was in sales, they led the interview process to convince you this is a sales job. If your background was in finance, they led the interview process to convince you this job has anything to do with finance. Probably 40% of the people working in ANY of the verticals actually studied financeor business because you don’t need a college education to do this job. All you do all day is go on your computer, cold email people without their consent, and then make as many cold calls as possible (or management will chew you out). You’re “selling” the consultation to the expert but they have nothing to gain from speaking with a consulting or PE firm. They’re millionaires and offering them $100 an hour is something they don’t want or need. Monthly target but quarterly payout is just a way to legally withhold pay from employees. Turnover is so high they can’t afford to pay out bonuses to those employees. This job is a call center with targets that are determined solely by luck. Your performance is based on luck 100% but managers will never admit to that.
