Pros
- Very very High-Level overview of numerous Industries - Good salary relative to other entry-level jobs (+30,000£ - but be wary) - Friendly Colleagues - Nice-to-have perks (Discounted Gym Subscription, Social Events (Friday drinks, Annual Christmas Ball, Monthly Company Social at different locations). Unfortunately, many of these benefits are used to sugarcoat the work.
Cons
- Role wrongly advertised!! The only research that you will conduct is on LinkedIn. You will be cold-calling experts all day long( very repetitive & boring). If you don't want an admin job, this is not for you. - Team Leaders: Inexperienced Managers, always pressured & stressed out by higher management. Leads to very rude and borderline un-ethical comments to associates. Very serious problem amongst numerous teams - No Respect of Personal Hour (expectation to answer within 10 mins of emails at any time of the day/evening) - No recognition of hard-work - Salary Base high because the bonus is irrelevant (don't be fooled) - Too many perks to mitigate the unwillingness to change the culture FYI: Only thing that hasn't changed since the Global Pandemic is the Turnover rate......
