Pros

I am thrilled to share my experience during my first six months as a Field Sales Representative for the Girona area at TheFork. Working for this company has been an incredible journey, and I feel deeply grateful to be part of such an exceptional organization. What Makes TheFork Outstanding: Human Connection: Despite being a highly technological and digitally mature company, TheFork emphasizes genuine human interaction, within teams, across departments, and with clients. Exceptional Leadership: The managers are true professionals who support your growth every step of the way, from comprehensive training to ongoing guidance whenever needed. Collaborative Team: My colleagues are always available to help and share their expertise, creating a strong sense of community. Autonomy and Flexibility: Flexible schedules and the autonomy to manage your work allow you to measure your progress clearly through monthly analytics. Exciting Work Environment: The job is dynamic and fun, every day is an adventure, filled with new challenges and opportunities to learn. Competitive Benefits: TheFork offers a more-than-decent salary, private health insurance, meal allowances, mileage reimbursements, continuous training, and more. Positive Atmosphere: The company culture is welcoming and supportive, making it a pleasure to come to work every day. I feel truly at home at TheFork and am eager to continue growing within this amazing family that has embraced me with open arms.

Cons

At the moment, I have nothing negative to say about the company I have no downs to report.

Pros

Positives include the flexibility of the role, some genuinely supportive colleagues, and the opportunity to work with hospitality businesses across the UK.

Cons

The role itself had potential, and the product is strong, but the experience was overshadowed by poor leadership within the Rest of UK team. The team lead came across as rude, abrupt, and lacking basic people management skills. Communication often felt dismissive rather than supportive, and there was little effort made to motivate or develop staff. Instead of constructive leadership, interactions frequently created unnecessary pressure and negativity. There was a clear lack of professionalism in how concerns were handled, with minimal empathy or understanding towards the team. Morale suffered because support from management was inconsistent, and feedback was often delivered in an unhelpful way. Targets were heavily pushed, but without the structure, guidance, or leadership needed to help the team succeed properly. Staff were expected to deal with high workloads and difficult situations while receiving very little meaningful support in return.
