Pros

Great team, great money, easy when you learn your stuff.

Cons

We used to have full health benefits and that was amazing, but owner changed the policy a couple years ago. Employees who reach an average of 30 hours per week will get to keep their benefits.

Pros

- Managers get comped meals when they're on the floor, all other employees get 50% off - Mind numbingly easy job, which can be a pro or con, depending on the person. Lots of down time.

Cons

- Everyone is stressed and walking on eggshells about being fired all the time. They fired 9 employees in the 4 months I was there. And 2 left on their own as well, out of worry of being fired. MIND YOU, almost none of these people were doing things of fireable offense. Including myself. - For reference, one week before I was fired, I was told "I have a bright future at this company" by the director of operations. One week later I was randomly pulled into HR and told I had an "unsatisfactory probation period" which is a cop out they use for everyone they fire so they don't have to give an actual reason. My job was something a high schooler could do, genuinely. I was open and honest with them about not having enough work to fill my day and that I'm happy to help out wherever needed. And I can understand maybe not needing the position anymore realizing it's not enough work for a FT job, but BE HONEST about it. Own up to it and apologize for letting me go because of that. Don't use the BS excuse of me not being a satisfactory employee. Thankfully, I know my worth and I always knew I needed a more challenging job with actually involved critical thinking and problem solving. So I was already looking elsewhere for a new position, and this wasn't as blindsiding as I'm sure they thought it would be (and were fully ok with that too). But I really have no respect for the way they treat their team. It's very sad. I would not recommend taking a job here unless you want to be on constant edge all the time. I left a good job to come to The Ranch, and now I'm back at square one to find a new job. - No room for advancement either. They rarely higher within, they won't consider department transfers at all.
