Pros
Lots of court opportunities, if you're into that sort of thing. And as long as you're an attorney, you can leave for lunch anytime and have all sorts of time flexibility.
Cons
Toxic culture, sink-or-swim mentality, pathetic pay and benefits, and there's no help for you. Doesn't help that if they see you doing well, they just pile on and pile on until you do mess up and suddenly you're considered a concern. Coworkers used the "Coolest Place to Work of 2018" phrase with tons of sarcasm. Unlike the other (legitimate) review, the other couple reviews having obviously been written by upper management, I disagree that fault is entirely with the COO. The owner shares plenty of blame for the poor state of the firm as well.
