Pros
Amazing coworkers Management is on top of it Food is delicious, it sells itself Easy to learn device (Toast) which allows you to place your table's orders via a handheld device Great training for any position
Cons
Only con is the tip pool system: tips are pooled for front and back of house which can severely diminish your checks at the end of the week. Being a tier system, you can rise to higher tiers to attain a higher percentage of the tip pool but it still is hindered by the fact that the back of house is taking from that pool as well. As a server I would have $400 nights, only to find that my entire paycheck was rarely more than $600 a week working 30 hours. While $20/hr isn't terrible, knowing servers make 3-4x as much at other restaurants makes it hard to want to stay around for long.
