Deep disappointment with the current state of The Mom Project. When the organization first started, it was truly amazing, with a mission that resonated deeply with me as a mother. However, I can no longer support an organization that is not living up to its original vision.
The constant layoffs and overstaffing with ineffective management have created an environment that is no longer supportive or empowering for mothers. It is clear that the organization has strayed far from its original mission.
I must also address the issue of male leadership in a mission that is supposed to be for moms. How can a man truly understand and advocate for the needs of mothers in the workforce? Allison, who I assume is a female leader within the organization, seems to have no voice in shaping the direction of the mission for moms.
Greg, it pains me to say this, but it seems that under your leadership, The Mom Project has been ran into the ground. I can no longer support an organization that does not prioritize the needs of mothers and families.
Please! Seek out other organizations that truly prioritize and support mothers in the workforce. BYE!!!
