Pros
I've worked for TIG for over a year and it's been an incredible place to build a career. It is what you make of it, but if you're a hard worker, who wants to learn, and is willing to ask questions and be outside your comfort zone, there's a model of success that just works here. I've been incredibly successful in my first year here, and while I know it's not for everyone, I do know it was for me and I love their meritocracy style of promotion, the training and development the put in, and the 1:1 coaching you receive weekly, to get better at what you do. I've seen other hires come in and not want to work hard and coast, and it's not a place for that mind set. It's for intrinsically driven individuals who want promotion & next level financials, personal & professional growth.
Cons
You have to work for it. A lot of people seem to think they're going to be handed a promotion or a 6-figure compensation. It's not made for individuals who want a cozy coaster of a position and that can be looked at as a "con" to certain individuals. For me - it was a "pro:".
