Pros

The international teams work hard to plant trees and restore landscapes around their communities.

Cons

The leadership is toxic and doesn't know how to effectively run an organization. They put white men in power and keep women and minorities working at low levels within the organization, perpetuating inequality. For real though, the top leaders are white men in Kenya living in gated compounds. They also have a serious issue with their financial management, which has resulted in massive layoffs throughout the organization. They don't pay their laborers enough and don't adequately plan projects to ensure tree survival and forest establishment.

Pros

Before merging with its subsidiary, the organization showed a significant level of care and concern for its people. They accomplished great feats that all communities could be proud of.

Cons

After the merger, the organization has displayed a notable prevalence of nepotism and a lack of diversity across its hierarchy. Delegating organizational decision-making to inexperienced individuals deviates from sound business principles and diminishes the credibility of the leadership team. Moreover, the dearth of diversity within the immediate leadership team signifies a failure to prioritize diversity and inclusion, consequently erecting barriers to advancement for underrepresented groups.
