Pros

You'll have great insight as to how a news/media company works and how revenue is made. There are some members of the Advertising department who are committed to working better.

Cons

The advertising departmental leadership's decision-making and personnel management appear to be highly subjective and lacking in transparency, creating an unpredictable and stressful working environment. There is a perceptible disconnect between internal communications and actual managerial actions regarding employee roles and tenure. Furthermore, the department's effectiveness is being significantly hampered by strategic issues, particularly a perceived weakness within the Sales team that management has failed to adequately address. This pressure has led to a client-pleasing approach that often prioritizes immediate gratification over offering clients the most optimal and long-term advertising strategies necessary for true brand expansion. This reactive strategy is detrimental to the department's long-term health.
