Pros

Telligen will support employees and encourage them to go to various trainings to make them more valuable. The management, in my experience, has been friendly and supportive. I was given many opportunities to grow and this has been a very positive experience. They are also extremely transparent with almost everything that goes on and while they're work is based off of contracts, your job is not. They "have your back", so to speak.

Cons

Unfortunately despite the many "pros" Telligen provides motivation and incentive that is mostly verbal. You'll receive praise and awards even, but when you take on additional responsibility, salary does not increase. They sort of hide behind the "employee owned" title and you never see pay raises that are aligned to what you are expected to perform. If I was to go to another company, it would be certain that I would receive a 20-30% pay raise doing the same work. At times I have felt penalized for out-performing the job they hired me to do. Again, a lot of verbal praise but nothing materializes out of it.

Cons

If you are NOT white, DO NOT even think about applying for a position at the Ridgeland, Mississippi location!!! I applied for a job at Telligen and when I submitted my application, they asked me a few questions to "get to know me." One of the questions was about my race, which is normal for a company to ask whenever you apply. Understandable. I selected the racial group that I identify with and waited to hear back from the company regarding an interview. A couple days later, they company sent me an email with a link regarding my background. The link took me to a page that asked me the SAME questions again regarding my race! Why would they need to ask me that AGAIN? There were SO many other questions to ask me regarding the position itself, but somehow, they are ONLY concerned with my race. They never asked me my interest in the position, recent successes that would be congruent to the position, or anything else regarding the job at Telligen. It's very disappointing because I know about the people that live in Ridgeland, MS. I know how racist they can be and how they love to distance their self from people that do not look like them. To the person reading this review: If you are NOT-white, do not bother applying for a position at the Ridgeland, MS location. You will save yourself from working in a racist/prejudice environment where people judge you based on the color of your skin and the stereotypes associated with it. Save your time, keep your peace, and apply to somewhere else instead!
