Great company! - Instructional Designer Technology Transfer Services Employee Review

15 total days off per year. 10 Vacation, 1 personal and 4 sick days. Using your time is never a problem at TTS, and it's not usually a problem when you need a few hours off for personal reasons.

This place is very poorly run. Upper management is completley disconnected from employees, and there is obvious favoritism and nepotism within the office. You are never commended for going above and beyond, and your performance is under constant scrutiny. Your position will be used as a leverage device in their favor, and they are quick to threaten it. TTS prefers to hire temporary employees as opposed to promoting within. They will promise you raises and performance reviews, none of this will happen. Overall Technology Transfer Services is an awful place to work, and I wouldn't send anyone their way.

I'm trying really hard to find one but I can't. Overall, I've worked at worse places, but there is no excuse for running a business this way, especially one that deals in academics on technical subject matters.

Management is filled with people who are family members of CEOs, etc. Not only should they not be in a position of management, they should not be in the eLearning field altogether. They are uneducated and proud of it. They are like a drowning person too embarassed to ask for help and desperately pretending to be able to swim while on their last breath of life. Pathetic.
