Pros

You get paid money You get benefits You learn about Microsoft products and great experience You meet some great people to network with

Cons

They do everything they can to not pay you your worth You'll possibly go 2 years without a raise, bonus, anything for more money The leadership pretends to listen, but doesn't actually make efforts to change real issues If you're not liked, a target is placed on you Terrible communication and no change management structure They will communicate word of mouth so they can't be held accountable in writing (he said/she said environment) The rules don't always apply to management and leadership, and blame often falls on engineers, not the awful management Turnover is very high They have alienated so many locals that they are forced to now use contractors to collect workers/talent because no one in Colorado Springs wants to work here Leadership will call you expletives, and tell you that you should know better despite never being informed and no record of them informing anyone anything Training is a joke here, basically thrown to the wolves The technical leads that are supposed to support you often are not available for much in a timely manner because now they do QA's job because QA can't even get their job right

Pros

The paychecks don't bounce, at least as far as I experienced. You'll never ever have time to be bored, if you could call it that.

Cons

Completely toxic work environment, through and through. Ignores requests for Disability accomodations, uses the information gleaned from that process to institute write-ups. PIPs are their favorite tool ever, beside death from overwork.
