6yI'm sorry to hear that you're not happy with your role. I'm happy to announce that one of your co-workers was just promoted to a manager position as of June 1st. Outside of your specific department our goal is hire 50% of our leadership from within and the other 50% external in order to diversify the experience in the leadership pool. I recognize that in your area only 1 out of the 5 have been promoted, but there are other internal promotions happening as well (for example, the person that just moved into a manager position came from the SME's - which will open up this position for an internal candidate as well).
