The company does not value the members with the most knowledge. Departments with inconsistent and incomplete training are consistently paid more than those in departments with rigorous standards and institutional knowledge. The colleagues who have the knowledge to prevent problems are not consulted first, but instead are expected to fix the problems after the fact
