Pros

Pretty cool office space. Opportunity to work on some fun clients. Plenty of free food and drinks.

Cons

This was the worst place I ever worked. Work/ Life balance was horrific. Creative team and account team don't get along which causes communication nightmares. Partners are condescending and rude. Interns are treated like maids. They take out trash, sweep floors, take food orders, etc.

Pros

I’ve worked for both past and new owners for over 8 years collectively. Nothing but great things to say about the changes that have been occurring daily from a process and business stand-point. Leadership has also implemented an ample amount of paid time off, 401K plans, and they are more than willing to get you the tools you need to succeed both on a day-to-day, and a career-path basis. Culture has also changed in the agency since new leadership has taken lead. They look to make sure people don’t burn themselves out, all while keeping the quality, and standard of work high.

Working here provides opportunity to get your hands on both large and small clients. There is a strong sense of comradery, which fosters a supportive “team” mentality.

Cons

Ebbs and flows of marketing can lead to quick turn projects and a fast paced environment isn’t for everyone.

Pros

There are some really talented folks working there as individual contributors.

Cons

Tattoo Projects touts that they are a different kind of agency from ones that would work you to the bone and ignore your well being. I found that becoming less and less of the case the longer I worked there. The profit over people decisions became more and more frequent. The lack of accountability by leadership bordered on childish finger pointing. A downward trend in employee happiness based on internal survey results was continually written off as growing pains. Mistakes weren’t tolerated by individual contributors, but could be expected on a regular basis from leadership. I would steer clear.
