Pros
Need to think hard : pantry is well stocked, office space is ample and lower level people are friendly
Cons
- Led by an obnoxious fool with no business sense in negative - A good lesson in how not to do business. You can trust the CEO to find the most inconsequential issue and harp on it for ages while totally missing crucial parameters that add 80% of the value. This is justified by saying that's what Tata Group Chairman wants. If that's indeed the case, 5% of my nation's GDP is at the risk with another incompetent person at the helm of $120B empire. - CEO is also a maniac who justifies all his issues such as always shouting and insulting others, by saying that's how leaders behave. In the townhall he rambles for long time. Some gems: why no leader gives positive reinforcement (reason - all leaders are like that) , why he doesn't tell clearly the scope before start of project (Reason- Chairman of Tata Group doesn't tell him the question clearly so he can't tell us), if we put up with this crap for 20 years then we will get rewarded (Reason - Tata Group doesn't reward employees unless we spend a few decades in it). No one ever questions the leader (Reason - that's how world works.) Such are his utterances at town hall. Each gets more absurd than the other. - Puppet HR: shocking to see there is no way to redress these than to quit. HR is a puppet and only follows his orders. - Spineless seniors: the practice heads and principals are from reputable firms but are either free riders or completely maxed out in life and just want to crawl in front of CEO. Over time they are setting an example of how not to lead. They ingratiate themselves.to CEO by writing false reviews here. - End Outcome - every project from Tata Digital to new ideas that this individual leads or takes part in will fail. Thank god for Glassdoor - they say they don't delete reviews. After 5 years I will be proven right. - All employees are treated like slaves. As masters have control over slaves lives, so does the CEO think he has.
