- Good initial pay - benchmarked to MBB; subsequent progression slower - CEO has direct connect with Chairman and we get a good view of Group-wide issues - Work on priority topics for Tata Sons.
Cons
- Abusive work environment: CEO has multiple personal and professionalism issues. Shouting and behaving unprofessionally is the norm with him, not even a one-off thing. It is shocking Tatas who are known for employee friendly policies have created such a culture and the aforementioned person seems close to Chairman. Says a lot about Group-wide degeneration. - 101 of consulting - to ask right questions and frame the problem is not followed. It all depends on whims and fancy of the CEO. - No one is allowed to express thoughts freely. The senior management (Practice Heads, Principals) come from good backgrounds but all have fallen silent and contribute to the bad workplace. - Organization believes they own employees. No regard for personal time. Very common to make employees work every weekend and cancel vacations. - Many false reviews seem to have been written by HR/seniors on direction of leadership. Please read all reviews fully before joining. - It is a smokescreen that TSMG provides strategic advise to Chairman's office. It looks we are just over-analysing everything to make random ideas look good.
