Tally has prioritized building out features as fast as possible for so long that the technical debt feels insurmountable. It feels like nothing is getting done now as we address it.
Processes are completely broken if they even existed in the first place. Leadership has no clue how to fix this. They say a lot of words about fixing things but they seem to be empty promises.
Leadership has no idea how to lead the company into the future. Zero vision. It seems like our marketing has strayed from us moving towards "complete financial automation" to pushing our CEO as a thought leader. It just shows there's not much substantive progress being made towards our ultimate goal.
Diversity used to feel like a priority but a good deal of our gains there were eliminated when layoffs happened in May. I feel like this is another area of empty promises and a lack of empathy.
Morale is pretty low following layoffs and I just wonder how Tally plans to bring that back. If I were looking for a job right now I would think long and hard about joining this company.
