Pros

Fully remote work. Good work-life balance (depending on the team). Most of the people are good, but most got laid off.

Cons

Multiple layoffs leading to poor morale and low job security. Frequent leadership changes and shifting priorities. Unrealistic expectations on outputs with smaller teams after layoffs causing burnout across all teams. Leadership often disconnected from employee concerns. Lack of clear long-term strategy and communication. Sales execution struggled, impacting the rest of the organization, marketing took the fall. Career growth was limited due to constant organizational changes. Leadership decisions felt erratic. CEO (Julie's) communication and conduct often felt unprofessional. The repeated layoffs eliminated several high-performing employees while lower-performing employees remained, making the process feel inconsistent and difficult to understand. It created the impression that performance was not consistently recognized or rewarded, which had a significant impact on morale and employee confidence.

Pros

The marketing team is upbeat, supportive, and makes meetings enjoyable. Cross-collaboration runs smoothly and other departments are willing to pitch in where they can.

Cons

There is so much product development/M&A-induced change/innovation that additional hats must be worn and role responsibilities are in flux.

Pros

The company has understandably struggled with the transition from a legacy transactional data business to a strategic AI/SaaS platform offering. This transition is hard and requires rewiring of both GTM and corporate execution, which, to the point of other reviews on here, hasn't been as well-led or executed as it could have been. That said, there is a passion and eagerness to get this right, learn from mistakes, and invest in the team. The product itself is a potential game-changer, and the product and sales teams have gained significant momentum around it. The recent change in CEO is a strong signal both internally and externally that we are committed to getting this right, and since this move, the business has rallied in a way I think most would say they've not seen from TN in the past in terms of energy, positivity, and actually getting meaningful work done on our biggest gaps as a business. It feels like what should have happened last year is actually happening this year, which makes this an exciting time and a place where one can have a large impact. From my perspective, our current exec team cares about the success of the business and our people, and is more engaged than ever in making sure that is felt. Hopefully this continues!

Cons

There are still some leftover culture detractors who are stuck in the old TN mindset and are not bringing the positive energy to the business that it deserves/needs. These individuals need to either join the movement or leave. Our corporate team members don't always view their role as sales enablers. Lots of chunky "Gartner-days" processes that work against GSD fast.
