Cons
Most of my co-workers are lazy and do little to contribute. My boss says he listens and tries to reassure me that he will be helpful, however, his actions do not back it up and instead, he barks orders and consistently has a snappy, demeaning tone. Interactions with specific difficult patients can be excruciating. You will be told that this job is easy, but this job is demanding and requires much emotional regulation and people skills in order to be successful. Changes within this position take a long time to generate and management only selectively listens to requests for change without much understanding of why suggestions for change are given. I also do not appreciate being treated as an errand boy. This job is not for everyone, especially if you have experience and a bachelor's degree like I do.
