Pros
The pay is great but that's if you're working full time, not so good for part time workers. However working for this government a hence can open up the doors for more opportunities to get employment with other government employers
Cons
Everything including shift choice and vacation times are based off seniority so if you're just starting out as a new employee be prepared to get the short end of the stick when it comes to choosing your vacation weeks
