Cons
Self-serving CEO, CFOO and Chief of Staff are horrible micro-managers. Experienced, educated and knowledgeable staff are second-guessed, talked down to, and forced to go against best practices in their respective areas by these bozos. Policy-mad, they constantly roll out policy after policy that is exhausting to keep track of due to the sheer number and the incoherency of the content. What makes it worse is that the top dogs don’t even follow their own rules. The best example of their hypocrisy is their Core Values (ICARE) - sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little. ICARE stands for: Integrity - really? - like hiring a Chief of Staff by creating a role for an inexperienced “friend”, not posting it, announcing it or letting staff know what this role is responsible for. Collaboration - you’ve got to be kidding! If the definition of collaboration is “do everything we say - your idea sucks” then yes, they are very collaborative. Accountability - see Integrity Respect - never have I felt less respected by my employer Excellence - we are excellent at being oligarchs
