Pros
Training is paid, and I received my insurance license for no cost after passing the state exam.
Cons
Everything else. From mismanagement to payment delay (of over a month), I left after passing training because I was told we would not get paid for our time if we were not physically in queue to receive phone calls — even though the systems that were constantly having outages had nothing to do with my personal internet connection or ability to connect to the server. It was ridiculous, I would never recommend this place to anyone — short of being an outright scam, Teleperformance would rather lose employees and hire new people than make sure to take care of the ones who dedicate their time and effort to becoming an asset to the team. There’s a reason they refuse to answer the turn-over rate question during the interview process — it’s 99.999999%. Also, and this is equally appalling yet somehow less egregious than not getting paid for over a month for my time, but I had no idea who my manager was — only my shift leader, and if that person was out there was no clear way to get any issues resolved, which is why I ended up leaving and found out about the non-payment for “technical issues” the company was having remotely.
