There are some amazing direct care staff who care. Cliques are starting to form. That can be difficult to navigate especially if you are actively trying to avoid the high school clique mentality.
Cons
The SLT team is a bunch of mean girls. There is a clear disconnect between them and the direct care staff. More often then not they will shift blame for everything on the consultants. Even if the consultant is completely blameless.
Management tries to reward us with "thank you emails " and pizza parties for meeting goals. Bonuses are rare and raises are minimal. Turn over is increasing and management keeps saying they don't know why.
SLT Tea Sessions are a joke. People don't participate in them because they will be targeted if they ask the real questions. SLT wants smiling pawns, not real life workers.
The anonymous Glint survey is not anonymous. Everyone gets a personalized link. Think about that.
No real room for growth. Stagnant wages. I have been over capacity on my caseload for a lomg time and am still being told that I am not doing enough.
