1. Ineffective Leadership Style: The majority of the leaders are not prepared to handle employee's failure constructively and usually you feel like you are in a fear-based and blaming each other culture, which also leads to a very anxious and defensive environment. 2. Lack of Empathy and Support: Within the area I worked in, saw a lot of coworkers facing burnout or personal challenges due to extremely high workloads, which usually as well was not properly managed by management. 3. Unfair Promotions: Career promotions for key positions based on political connections rather than meritocracy are sometimes overlooked. 4. HR Department Issues: The lack of empathy in the HR department, sometimes you see HR that just wants to be liked by leaders and they do not have the best employee interest all the time. Also, even in the HR area I noticed high attrition and very bad terminations, looked like also HR is with low engagement. 5. Termination Practices: Ruthless terminations with little care for the well-being of employees usually done whenever they implement changes or cost reductions efforts which are done on a yearly or two-year basis. 6. Regional or Market Discrepancies: The inconsistency of empathy and support across Markets, especially in the Americas region.
