Pros

The Company is fit and fair and very diverse. Employees become "Participants" through the Company's 401(k) plan. Like a "credit union", the Company's assets are held by the Participants, who are also the employees of not-for-profit institutions: schools, colleges, universities, research centers, art & culture orgainizations, health care providers & facilities, etc. The Company is not a "corporation", so there is no "corporate" mentality; it's all business. Great "benefits" for health (including onsite medical clinics), fitness club reimbursement, free life and health coaching through Aetna, gernerous 401(k) contribution by Company, subsidized public transit, free memberships to local organizations, great volunteer program and support, sponsors a Toastmasters Club. There is a fantastic "Cybrary", i.e., online access to library and information sources and it is managed by a real "cybrarian", a master-degree librarian. People are friendly and collegial at all levels and across levels. Has a new "wiki" for "Knowledge Management" (KM). People enjoy their work and being on their Teams. There is "fun with a purpose" in the Company. An annual "Cultural Survey" fairly and completely assesses the work atmosphere and attitudes of the employees. The Company has "class" and "cache'". People are proud to work for the Company and be a part of it. The Company is dynamic and conservative in its solid values that support individuality, integrity, work ethics, and knowledge. The Company is absolutely dedicated to its clients, its "Participants". The Company is growing financially.

Cons

The Company cafeteria's food is, at times and for certain items, a bit "pricey". Has a great dress code but it is not "enforced" sufficiently.

Pros

Great work life balance, good benefits, decent pay, ease of running your own practice as an “advisor”, and healthy work environment

Cons

Management styles can vary and affect your experience, upper management doesn’t seem to be well equipped to ensure the organization’s success but it is resilient nonetheless.
