Pros

They will hire anyone, so if you absolutely need to make ends meet, this will get you through.

Cons

You will not be valued or taken seriously. They will try to convince you they have a culture, and an open communication policy. Upper management will tell you to be curious, ask questions, seek advice, all of the basic "you need these to succeed" qualities. While that is all good and you should do that in any job, it ultimately does not matter at TEK. Nothing you do will make you stand out. The deal is, unless you are higher up in the company, no one will respect or care about you, and it will be known. There is a horrible team culture here. Directors will make jokes and sigh if they hear a story about an account lead disrespecting a recruiter. That is not what you want in a company. I could not personally disagree more with how this company is run. As a recruiter, you will be forced to hit metrics to the point where your directors don't care about how many starts you have as long as you are hitting your activity. Every recruiter is constantly worried about their weekly activity, if they will keep their job, and highly stressed. It is the worst culture I have ever witnessed and seen, especially from a company that values their 'culture'. Please do not work here, unless you absolutely have to.

Pros

Good opportunity to learn on the job. Able to meet with people in the industry both with TEKsystems and Microsoft. Good hands on experience with an AI data center

Cons

Sever lack of work 80% of days. Contract position got let go 3 months ahead of earliest anticipated date. Low overall responsibility within role (most contractors could only work basic tickets. Anything requiring more troubleshooting was reserved for full time employees). TEKsystems management was far removed from what was actually happening day to day onsite. Was led to believe that there would plenty of contract to hire positions when there were only a handful and were already taken.
