Pros

The training you get here will allow you to work for most other companies as a recruiter.

Cons

There is a lot of Micromanagement from the Top down. All of TEKsystems policies on how to recruit from people that haven't recruited since the 80s. Their is a culture of favortism that is woven into the fabric of TEKsystems. The benefits are awful. The Contests went from averaging 10k a year to 15k a year. This basically makes it very difficult for anyone but established recruiters at TEKsystems to make the most compensation, win trips. Turn over rate is usually 40 percent per office and around 65 percent in 2009.

Pros

Teksystems have top rated clients in their radar and the recruiters are always ready to listen and try to give solution if there are any roadblocks as they render a comfortable platform to discuss anything regarding the contract.

Cons

pay range quoted is OK (medium ballpark) but unable to negotiate

Pros

The recruiter I worked with was actually really great and got me placed super fast. The benefits for contractors are decent compared to other staffing agencies I've seen. Honestly, getting a big enterprise client on my resume was exactly what I needed to step up my career, so I'm grateful for that.

Cons

Once you're actually working at the client site, it feels like TEKsystems kind of forgets about you. Communication drops off hard after the first few weeks. Also, their cut of the pay rate is pretty noticeable, but I guess that's just the industry standard for contract roles.
