Pros

Met some great people. You can become a manager very quickly if you buy into their awful culture and "play the game" the way they like.

Cons

Worst and most toxic environment in which I've ever worked. TEK is ranked in the top 100 companies to work for every year, but it's only because of the sales offices. The entire company stands on the shoulders of overworked and underpaid 20-something college grads working in AR who don't earn the huge commissions or get trips to Cancun every year like the recruiters and account managers. The company psychologically and emotionally manipulates young people in their first real jobs, who don't understand they deserve better. A senior level executive even told my team that they employ a psychologist to develop their "culture". They claim their "culture" of emotional honesty and criticism is a strength, but it's just another twisted justification for the mistreatment of employees. Almost everyone who realizes the issues and leaves this company is hired immediately at a much better company and makes $10k+ more per year.

Pros

Good opportunity to learn on the job. Able to meet with people in the industry both with TEKsystems and Microsoft. Good hands on experience with an AI data center

Cons

Sever lack of work 80% of days. Contract position got let go 3 months ahead of earliest anticipated date. Low overall responsibility within role (most contractors could only work basic tickets. Anything requiring more troubleshooting was reserved for full time employees). TEKsystems management was far removed from what was actually happening day to day onsite. Was led to believe that there would plenty of contract to hire positions when there were only a handful and were already taken.
