Pros
Flexible work schedule, great benefits such as tuition reimbursement, medical and dental, 401K plan, stock ownership plan. Managers are pretty easy going and relaxed and are not hung up on the little things. There's fair amount of autonomy and managers generally don't bother too much unless it's a hair-raising issue. It's a relaxed work environment and most of the people are famil oriented. It's a great place to work as a parent as their environment promotes a flexible work scheudle.
Cons
There's very little chance of promotion and very little career development. Management would rather you stay in your cubicle and do your job rather than advance. Most of the management have been there 20+ years and when a position arises due to retirement (in most cases as very few people quit) the position is usually eliminated and the workload is divided between existing managers. If you are looking for the 9-5 job and not having to worry about it when you leave, and be happy with never really advancing and making the same salary FOREVER then it's the place to work.
