Unfortunately, it's more of a dog eat dog company. People are likely to talk nice to you and then step on your head while you're drowning to advance themselves. If they say you have a job, don't hold your breath until you see the contract. Management is a little stale on employee relations and making sure you're happy. Most people on contracts last a few months then find a better job somewhere else.
